It's a Pigeon!

We finally named the cat.

We named her Pigeon!

So, congrats to .tiff. who won herself a fancy Amazon gift certificate. Fancy!
Now for some more backstory: The kitten started to coo a couple days after we got her and then she started to hang out on our shoulders and pick up scraps from the trash. We started calling her Pigeon to see if it would stick but we were still out on someone to actually suggest the name pigeon. I'd hate to get 170+ comments and not actually use one of them. Lucky for us .tiff. picked it out (randomly! there was no baiting here...) and the name really did stick.

We got a lot of really fantastic names, a lot of which made us laugh (if you haven't seen the reasoning for why we should have called her Kate Moss you should probably read that) Thank you everyone for suggesting great names, I hope we can do it again soon (but with someone else because one cat is enough for me)!
